Description
"Amelia"
5.25"x8": mixed media; collage, gesso, pen & ink, inktense and watercolor pencils.
So I was going to start doing my robin painting I wanted to do and look what I found in one of the books I like to tear up! I picture of Amelia Earhart, the first lady to fly solo across the Atlantic! how perfect. So I came up with that painting.
I think the only problem I have with the robin is it's upper red breast. it looks kind of sloppy. :/
But I wrote another poem after I painted it. Well actually I wrote two, and than another one this morning what's up with me? seriously, I never have been able to write poetry. Not saying that what i'm writing is good or anything, but I guess they're just quick little writing excersises so I can start writing my stories. Even though I have so much fun writing these poems! I would like feedback on them, please.
The ghost of Amelia came to me one day,
she asked me where she was, but I didn't know what to say,
I told her she died after flying so high,
and she reminded me again that she was the first woman to fly,
she looked at me displeased and than started to weep,
"What happened," she asked, "did I drown in the ocean, that is for too deep?"
